1. 개요 [편집]
아일랜드의 술게임 노래. 소위 "Drinking Song"이라고 한다. 자세한 것은 아일랜드의 포크 음악 문서 참조.
한국의 유사품으로는 '시장에 가면'이 있다.
가사는 소란스러운 늪지에 찾아가서 보게 되는 사물들을 계속해서 열거해나가는 내용이다. 문제는 '술게임' 노래이기 때문에 취한 나머지 혀가 꼬이거나 미처 앞에 말한 가사를 까먹게 된다. 즉 음주 후 취했는지 검증하는 'Sobriety Test'이다.
처음에는 늪지에 있는 소란스러운 구멍에 대해 노래하면서 짧게 가사가 끝나나 1분만 지나도 암기해야할 대상의 가사가 10줄이 넘어가게 된다.
노래 분위기는 전체적으로 굉장히 흥겹고 신난다.

가사 중간중간에 들어갈 대상은 부르는 사람에 따라 애드리브가 가미돼 개사될 수 있으며 사람에 따라 생각나는대로 Twig이나 Heel이나 Hill이 들어가기도 한다. 좌우지간 가사가 무엇이건 다 암기해내기만 하면 되기 때문에 가사가 바뀌어도 딱히 이상해하는 사람은 없다. 다만 취한 나머지 노래를 부르던 중 열거된 대상의 순서를 바뀌서 노래하면 웃음거리가 될 수 있다.
